ParentsAll applicants are well screened and evaluated before a decision is made to hire them. They must submit to being fingerprinted for a civilian background check by the office of the Ohio Attorney General. We also require a minimum of four references for every applicant and we call the references ourselves to get a good idea of who we are thinking of hiring. Also, all applicants must fill out an in-depth application that covers many areas of their personal and spiritual ability and experience to work at Camp Burton.
All of our summer staff are required to go through our staff training program. They report to camp two weeks before the first summer session. Their training sessions will provide focused attention on their area of employment, general policies, procedures and safety standards as well as giving them opportunity to build friendships with their fellow staff members. Our number one goal is to ensure the safety of your child while providing a fun and exciting environment form them to grow spiritually. By the time they see their first campers they are ready for just about anything.
Potential StaffDo you have a passion for Jesus Christ and ministering to kids? Do you have the heart of a servant? We are always looking for staff members to help us share the message of Jesus Christ with campers.
